After many years of walking through the halls of the Geology Building.  The halls of the Geology Building are getting a new face. 

Complete with a champagne toast, the Earth Sciences Geology Building Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Saturday, February 13, 2010.

The days events will include:

11:30-12:20 a campus "Back to the Class Room" lecture series featuring Earth Sciences professor Martin Kennedy on Global Climate Change.

12:30-1:00 Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in the Geology court yard complete with champagne

1:00-2:30 Lunch provided from an Earth Sciences local favorite, The Substation

2:30-4:30 various geological games and activities for our faculty, former and current students including: Name that rock, Mike McKibben water balloon toss, Guess Where (can you guess the field area), and if any one is interested to view the new labs and offices we will be providing building tours.

After, the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony & Homecoming extravaganza everyone is welcomed to Dr. Mary Droser & Nigel Hughes residence for an intimate dinner to reminisce and share personal memories and a photo slide show. Dinner will begin at 6:00pm. The cost is $25.00 per person (includes open bar) and children 12 and under are free.

Tell your friends- We want this Homecoming to be an even bigger event then the last.  Therefore let's make it a Competition of the Decades.  Tell all of your fellow classmates or colleagues and which ever decade has the most graduates show up to the event will win prizes.
